Osprey?

I'm not sure if this is an Osprey...but it looked like one.  The nest was huge!  I had to take a little photo safari and scramble around on the dock.  There were a couple of times where the bird landed and I couldn't get a clear shot from all the framing on the finger pier.  The nest was amazing!  I have no idea where he actually found all those sticks!  It looks like such a barren wasteland!  Conside....and I'm not going to lie I was scared to death....all I could think about is this story where my Uncle swam out to an island and tried to steal a seagull egg and the mama seagull swooped down and bit his ear....except he was a hemophiliac and he had to swim back bleeding.  Everytime the bird came near I'd duck and almost drop to the grating.[gallery columns="4"]

Prompt:  Appreciate.  What's the one thing you appreciate most in the past year?  How do you express gratitude for it?  (Author:  Victoria Klein) I'm still thinking about yesterday's prompt!  I'm thankful for many, many things....but what this prompt is actually asking is what do you appreciate.  It made me realize there is a difference!  For example I'm thankful that I have a job...but I definitely don't appreciate it.  It also made me realize that I don't express gratitude as much as I probably should.

These past two prompts have been helping me narrow down my words for 2011.  I'm still working on picking a word for 2010.  My 2010 word candidates aren't very happy words...I think I'm having to come to terms with the fact that maybe 2010 wasn't my best year.

Today's prompt is GREAT!  I'd really, really like to sit and write, write, write....but we have a docking in the middle of the night so I'll have to give it my attention later.... For those of you who are Reverbing vicariously here is some food for thought:
