It rains A LOT in Hilo. Sometimes, I think we secretly love it not just because it keeps us fresh and green but because it means we're not a huge tourist destination. We are pretty much just a pit stop on the way to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. As far as I'm concerned the rain can stay. I'll stay curled up with a book and a cup of tea....really, I don't mind!
